[UT Grotto - Trips] (no subject)

For those of you interested, we are having a beginner's caving trip to Whirlpool Cave June 10th @ 7pm (this is a tuesday night). This is an evening trip, so bring a headlight, and make sure you can stay out late(normally 10:30-11:30ish)! It's about a 3 to 3:30 hour trip mattering on the speed of our group, so be prepared to be underground for that long.

 I would like to remind you that basic caving gear (kneepads, elbow pads, headlamp) are needed for this. If you have a helmet (we have a few loners if you don't) it would be good to bring it. Due to Grotto beginner trip protocol, I can't and won't let anyone in the cave unless they have the proper safety gear.

If you'd like to go be sure to let me know, so I can put you on the list. Please indicate if you'll need a loner helmet.
